MEXICO CITY — Triplemanía is coming to American and Canadian pay-per-view this Sunday! As such, the road to this Sunday’s Triplemanía XXIII kicks into high gear tonight as lucha libre legend and AAA creative team member Konnan participates in a REDDIT Ask Me Anything (“AMA”) session.

Konnan has been intricately connected to AAA since its inception in 1992 when he, along with Antonio Peña, co-founded the organization. A legendary feud with Jake “The Snake” Roberts culminating in Roberts losing his hair would help put AAA on the map. Konnan would make history, main eventing AAA’s first pay-per-view in America and Canada, 1994’s When Worlds Collide event at the sold out LA Sports Arena.
Matching his accomplishments as one of Mexico’s biggest stars of all-time, Konnan also is known for discovering and cultivating elite talent including: Rey Mysterio Jr., Fénix, Pentagon Jr., Psicosis and Juventud Guerrera.
Today, Konnan continues his work with young talent as well as in a creative capacity for AAA while commanding the top rudo faction, La Sociedad.
AAA’s Triplemanía XXIII PPV airs live from Mexico City on Sunday, August 9th with a special start time of 7pm ET / 4pm PT featuring English commentary.
