WWE’s original plans for the tag team match involving Stephen Amell, Stardust and Neville called for The Miz to be the tag team partner of Stardust.
The reason for this is because Miz’s gimmick is that of a movie star. So there would be two superheroes and then two movie stars in the match.
Those plans changed when Ryback went down with a staph infection in mid-July, which resulted in WWE’s plans to change.
King Barrett was added to the tag team match instead.
