Flyweight and Women’s Strawweight bouts slated for UFC 192

The UFC continues to stack the UFC 192 pay-per-view card as UFC officials announced (through the Houston Chronicle on Monday) that former flyweight title contenders face off when Joseph Benavidez takes on Ali Bagautinov while Rose Namajunas returns to face Angela Hill at the event.

Joseph Benavidez is on a three-fight winning streak coming into this fight. He’s fresh off a win over John Moraga on May 23, 2015, at UFC 187 by unanimous decision.

Ali Bagautinov hasn’t fought in over a year and his last fight was a unanimous decision loss to Demetrious Johnson on June 14, 2014, at UFC 174 for the UFC Flyweight Championship.

Rose Namajunas is 2-2 in her pro-MMA career, which seen her last two bouts be losing efforts thanks to Tecia Torres and Carla Esparza.

Angela Hill holds a 2-1 pro-MMA record and is coming off a unanimous decision loss to Tecia Torres at UFC 188.

UFC 192 takes place Saturday, October 3rd, 2015 at Houston’s Toyota Center. The main card airs on pay-per-view following prelims on FOX Sports 1 and UFC Fight Pass.
