WATCH: Dean Ambrose talks about his career in WWE, The Shield and being a singles wrestler

Dean Ambrose appeared on ESPN’s SportsCenter Tuesday night (January 5th, 2016) to talk to Jonathan Coachman about WWE. There was a highlight reel of the top five moments of Monday night’s episode of RAW.

Ambrose appeared on SportsCenter via satellite and talked about putting Kevin Owens through a table on RAW. He said that his body can hold up to the punishment he dishes out. Ambrose said that he is a big fan of wrestling and is very familiar with all of the greats in wrestling and said that he gets compared to Roddy Piper and Steve Austin a lot. He talked about being unpredictable.

The Shield was brought up and Ambrose said no one can ask for a better start in WWE. He said that The Shield kicked down the door and they’ve had a lot of success in WWE up until this point.

Ambrose pointed out that it was good for him to get out of the group because he felt like the goon of the group and is glad to be on his own now. Coachman plugged SmackDown moving to the USA Network this Thursday night.

Ambrose thanked ESPN for having him on the show, and this wrapped up the segment.
