This past weekend we heard a rumor making the rounds regarding Daniel Bryan’s status with WWE. We waited to hear from someone in WWE before we mentioned it here on the site. Basically, the rumor was that Daniel Bryan was getting released from WWE sometime this week and that an official statement from the company had already been drafted.
We heard back from WWE today and we are told that there is no truth to the rumor. Hopefully, this clears things up for everyone that has emailed us in the past couple of days. Bryan will be replacing Seth Rollins at the World of Wheels auto show in Pittsburgh on Friday 1/22. He will be there at 6pm. The show will be held at the David L. Lawrence Convention Center.
As far as Bryan’s in-ring status, the latest is that he is training as if he is going to wrestle again but it’s all up to WWE doctors to clear him if they feel that he is healthy enough to wrestle again.
