THE BEST WRESTLING ON THE PLANET returns to The Crossroads of America for a night of INCREDIBLE professional wrestling! The stars of ROH, as seen on your SINCLAIR BROADCAST GROUP affiliates and the COMET NETWORK, are coming to the INDIANA STATE FAIRGROUNDS’ HARVEST PAVILION on Friday January 15, 7:30 PM bell time, as the 2016 WINTER WARRIORS TOUR rages on!
There is no more difficult task in professional sports to recover from a major injury. In addition to the physical recuperation required, the mental grind of starting from scratch with an injured body part is often just as daunting.
Especially when prior to injury, you were on the top of your respective sport’s world.
Adam Cole ended 2014 with a shoulder injury that would have ended the career of lesser competitors. But by mid-year, Cole was cleared by physicians to compete once again in ROH and began to reassert himself as a top contender with wins against Dalton Castle and Christopher Daniels before wrapping the year with a victory over former Future Shock tag team partner KYLE O’REILLY in a late Match of the Year candidate at FINAL BATTLE!
With Cole once again knocking on the door of ROH World Championship contendership, Cole looks to keep the momentum he built in 2015 going in a very special, FIRST TIME EVER match against ALEX SHELLEY!
Since returning to ROH in Nashville in November, Shelley has been on quite a roll of his own! Among the early ROH trailblazers, Shelley is an accomplished tag team star, seemingly having his sights set on former tag team partner CHRIS SABIN and the KRD! In Indianapolis, Shelley has an opportunity to instantly climb the ladder and make his mark in singles competition but it certainly won’t be easy!
