Two TNA stars could be on their way to WWE

Davey Richards and Eddie Edwards are not taking bookings after May 1. There are just two places that they could go where they would not be allowed to take independent bookings. Those two place would be full-time in ROH or WWE. Richards, whose current TNA deal expires on 4/30, left ROH on bad terms.

Paul Levesque is looking for names that can work as he continues to expand NXT’s touring schedule and Richards fits what Levesque would want. Several sources are indicating that Richards has made it clear that he believes that WWE is where he is headed. There’s no word on Eddie Edwards future post-TNA. His deal also expires on 4/30.

Edwards and Richards had some tryout matches with NXT prior to signing with TNA but WWE decided against signing them. Things are different now and WWE (namely Paul Levesque) are much more open to signing names that would not have gotten serious consideration a few years ago. WWE does have interest in both Richards and Edwards.
