Here’s an update to the previous post regarding CM Punk telling Vince McMahon that he was going home. The word out of WWE is that the CM Punk vs. Triple H match was changed and now the plan is to do a Daniel Bryan vs. Triple H match at WrestleMania. This could be why Punk decided to go home or the match may have changed as a result of Punk going home. One person in the company noted to me tonight that they think Punk was frustrated with the company not talking to the talent about pay-per-view payoffs going forward. It’s no secret that the talent is wondering about their pay-per-view bonuses. A star like Punk could receive 5 or 6 figures in one night for WrestleMania. The WWE Network changes everything and the talent has yet to be told how it affects them.
