Well, it looks like most of us on twitter were fooled by the fake Cynthia and Bobby Heenan accounts. This past week, @RealBobbyHeenan popped up on twitter and the authenticity of the account was verified by many people in the wrestling business including Mick Foley and Joey Styles. The problem is that the verification came from @cynthia_heenan, an account that was pretending to be Bobby’s wife for the last several months so they had everyone fooled.
If you are wondering how the @RealBobbyHeenan account got verified, we are told that people in WWE were fooled (tons of people in WWE, TNA and the independents followed the account) and someone in WWE got the account verified with Twitter.
Gilbert Boyas, the owner of Prime Time Appearances, confirmed that he spoke to Bobby’s wife and they have never used Twitter. Boyas often books Heenan for autograph signings. David Herro also confirmed that both accounts are fake.
Bobby & Cyndi are two of my dearest & closest friends. Cannot believe these FAKE accounts @Cynthia_Heenan @RealBobbyHeenan UNFOLLOW. GO

Why would someone be ignorant enough to impersonate Bobby Heenan on Twitter?
What a load of manure. https://t.co/vokOfnnDTs— Jim Ross (@JRsBBQ) July 2, 2016
