Four more wrestlers that WWE is looking to sign for the brand split

In addition to the names already reported, the Wrestling Observer newsletter is reporting that WWE is also showing interest in bringing in Curt Hawkins (Brian Myers), James Yun (Jimmy Wang Yang), Volador Jr. and Rush.

Jimmy Wang Yang was backstage at Raw this week and noted via twitter that he was waiting for his meeting. He started in the business at a very young age and he’s just 35 years old and still in great shape. His last run with WWE ended in 2010. The idea is to bring back wrestlers that can still go in the ring and their role would be to put over the younger wrestlers since they need more bodies for the brand split.

Hawkins, 31, has been wrestling on the independent scene and he was one of the featured names at last year’s Global Force Wrestling TV tapings. Volador Jr., 35, is best known for his work in the CMLL promotion in Mexico. He has also wrestled for New Japan Pro Wrestling and he’s wrestled on a few shows for TNA. Rush, 27, has been working in CMLL since 2009.

As previously noted, WWE has shown interest in bringing back Carlito, Stevie Richards and MVP. Richards is scheduled to be a guest trainer at the Performance Center soon.
