– The current plan for this year’s TNA Bound For Glory is for the show to air on pay-per-view on the 15th anniversary of 9/11. That will be a tough night for TNA because WWE has Backlash listed on their schedule for that date so it would be one of those rare times when WWE and TNA are head-to-head on the same night. Backlash will be a WWE Network exclusive and will be a Smackdown-branded show.
– Regarding the reports on Billy Corgan, the money he gave to TNA was not a loan. In exchange for money he put into TNA, he got a percentage of ownership. Corgan has become a regular character on TNA television and it’s looking like they are laying the groundwork down for an eventual heel turn.
– People in TNA are thrilled with the numbers for this past Tuesday’s Impact Wrestling show for #TheFinalDeletion. As noted before, they pulled in over 400,000 viewers. Kudos to the Hardys and Jeremy Borash for pulling it off. We’ll see if the buzz surrounding TNA right now carries over into next week’s show. The Hardy’s already have new merchandise up on Pro Wrestling Tees and there’s even a t-shirt for Senor Benjamin. Senor Benjamin is actually Reby Sky’s father.
