WWE has released the following names of wrestlers who will serve as alternates for the Cruiserweight Classic tournament:
* Aaron Solow
* Jesus Yurnet
* Jessy Sorensen
* Vandal Ortagun
* Kai Katana
In case any of the Cruiserweight Classic competitors could not continue for some reason, then one of the alternate wrestlers would replace that competitor. The WWE Cruiserweight Classic premieres on the WWE Network on Wednesday night after NXT goes off the air.
