Impact Wrestling viewership for 7/21/16: Move to Thursday pays off for TNA

Impact Wrestling drew 362,000 viewers on Thursday night on Pop TV, which is up from the 358,000 viewers the episode drew last week. Impact ranked #137 in the top 150 shows on cable for the night. This was the first episode of Impact on Thursday nights on Pop TV. TNA had stiff competition with the Republican National Convention airing on several cable networks opposite of Impact.

TNA should be thrilled with these numbers because they had to rely on fans remembering to tune in on Thursday nights. Historically, ratings have dipped when TNA would switch nights but that was not the case this time. In theory, the rating should increase next week as more viewers remember to tune in on Thursday.
