Mojo Rawley made his official debut on the main roster at WWE Battleground. Rawley was drafted to Smackdown in the later rounds on the WWE Network after Smackdown Live went off the air.
Rusev defeated Zack Ryder to retain the United States Championship but he continued to attack Ryder after the match was over and that prompted Rawley to come out to save his partner.
It looks like this will lead to an eventual title program between Rawley and Rusev.
