It’s no secret that Jeff Hardy would like another run in WWE. He has said it publicly before and there couple be an opportunity for him when his TNA contract runs out. Hardy’s deal with TNA Wrestling ends at the end of February 2017. That would be right around the time of Wrestlemania season. Hardy wants to end his career in a Hell in a Cell match. In an interview with LA Weekly, he said, “Man, I want to Swanton off the top of the cell, onto the commentary table.” He added, “Then, I want to climb the cell, cut the fucking cage, when ‘Taker’s back in the ring, and Swanton though the cage, miss, and then Tombstone 1-2-3.”
Hardy, 38, knows that his career is winding down. He told LA Weekly that “everything hurts” and he’s and his wife says that she’s had to take him to the hospital several times.
Hardy’s interview took place at Friday night’s JCW Blodymania 10 in Thornville, Ohio. Hardy hurt his back while hitting the swanton bomb on Willie Mack. He also was knocked out for a couple of seconds after taking a running hip attack in the corner of the ring with Jeff in a seated position. LA Weekly photographer Nate “Igor” Smith said that he thought that the neck was broken. Reports from the show say that Hardy was kind of out of it for the rest of the match and then after the match, he proceeded to destroy a ladder and a piece of a table. That had fans concerned but Hardy said that he thought that he just got a stinger.
Beth Hardy provided an update on her husband’s status via twitter. Hopefully, he heals up soon. As far as the WrestleMania match, Hardy’s name has been brought up within WWE during the last couple of years so anything is possible.
My husband can barely walk & can’t turn his head after his match last night. It’s straight to the doctor when we land. 😢😕😔🏥
