Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson announced on his official Instagram account that he and Under Armour will be remembering the Battle of Pearl Harbor with limited edition training bags that will be available on Veterans Day. Johnson also announced that there will be a tribute show for the troops, “Rock The Troops,” that will air live from Pearl Harbor in December on Spike. Johnson posted this:
Here’s a sneak peek exclusive of something pretty special and cool being designed for you from our @underarmour #ProjectRock #UAFreedom line.
Limited edition #GBOAT2. You made the limited edition original #GBOAT (Greatest Bag Of All Time) an instant collectors item by selling them out in record time. We THANK YOU.
On December 7th, 1941 the “Battle of Pearl Harbor” took place as we were attacked. This December will mark the 75th anniversary of that battle. These #GBOAT2’s will honor and commemorate those soldiers who fought so bravely on that day.
We will release these bags this VETERANS DAY.
And this December, for the 75th anniversary of the Battle of Pearl Harbor – our @sevenbucksprod’s along with our producing partner @caseypattersontv and @spiketv will bring you an HISTORIC and EPIC EVENT honoring our troops past and present and around the world. The biggest stars in music, film, comedy, sports and TV will join us in celebrating and honoring our troops and their families.
There’s only one place to hold this one of kind event of this magnitude… PEARL HARBOR.
Every celeb I know wants to be a part of this show and even better, every military personnel I speak to are so excited, grateful (and often get emotional) at the idea of what this show represents.
The name of the show… ROCK THE TROOPS.
It’s gonna be an AWESOME NIGHT.
Can’t wait for you guys to see it.
