WWE had scouts at the 2016 Olympics in Rio scouting many athletes, and one of the athletes that WWE was looking at was 27-year-old Canadian wrestler Erica Wiebe.
Wiebe competed as part of Canada’s 2016 Olympic team and won gold in the finals of women’s wrestling. Wiebe recently did an interview with TSN Radio Vancouver and noted that WWE called her to possibly join the company.
