Randy Orton teamed up with John Cena at the live event in Fairfax, VA on Monday night. Orton and Cena faced The Wyatt Family but it doesn’t look like Orton is 100% cleared to take bumps because he was protected throughout the match.
We are told that he did not take any bumps. This could be a sign that he’s just almost 100%. Orton was pulled from Sunday’s Backlash pay-per-view because he had not yet been cleared from the concussion suffered during his SummerSlam match with Brock Lesnar. There was hope within the company that he would have been cleared by Sunday and it was something that the company was hoping to keep quiet.
On a side note, we’re told that the show in Fairfax was heavily papered due to low attendance.
