Randy Orton wrestled Bray Wyatt in a singles match at Saturday night’s house show in Springfield, Missouri. It’s his first singles match since his match with Brock Lesnar at SummerSlam where he suffered a concussion. He took bumps on Saturday night but he was more cautious than usual, likely as a precaution. Orton wrestled on a house show last Monday night but did not take any bumps, other than hitting the RKO.
From my understanding, Orton has been cleared. He may have been cleared last Tuesday at the Smackdown tapings. He was probably good to go a Backlash but WWE is very careful when dealing with concussions so he was pulled from his match at Backlash as a precaution.
