NXT star “The Drifter” Elias Samson will be returning to action at Thursday’s NXT house show in Lakeland, FL.
Samson has been out of action with an ankle injury since June. I believe he had a fractured ankle and the injury occurred during a live event in Nashville.
Samson has been in a cast and crutch since that time but luckily for him it wasn’t serious enough to keep him out much longer then 3 months. The drifter gimmick hasn’t really caught on with the NXT crowd so it will be interesting to see if they change course with creative plans for him.
