As most of you know by now, Mickie James is on her way back to WWE after impressing fans and officials with her match with Asuka at NXT Takeover: Toronto.
James was in Pittsburgh on 12/22 to do the standard medicals. Her last independent date was on 12/17 in Norfolk, England and I believe she is finished up with her indie commitments. She was also working shows for Global Force Wrestling but she has been removed from their roster page.
We’re told that she is due to start on Smackdown Live within the next couple of weeks so I would not be shocked if she was revealed to be La Luchadora. FYI, she was not the person playing Luchadora on last week’s Smackdown Live. If you want to know who was under the mask last Tuesday, click here.
Hopefully, her signing leads to WWE taking a look at her husband Nick Aldis (former TNA star Magnus).
