WWE Hall of Famer Jim Ross has posted a new blog entry over at his website where he gives his thoughts on various topics. During the blog, Ross commented on Monday’s episode of RAW. He said that the show is a huge opportunity for WWE to get more fans interested and motivated to watch this Sunday’s Royal Rumble PPV as this is the go-home show for the flagship WWE show. He pointed out that Goldberg and Brock Lesnar are scheduled to appear on the show, and that one has to wonder how WWE will enhance their storyline going into the Royal Rumble. He doesn’t think that the two Superstars should get physical with each other on the show but that they have to add to their rivalry, which he thinks will likely be the main event of WrestleMania 33 in Orlando, FL.
Ross believes this year’s Royal Rumble is one of the best booked WWE events in a good while and that there should be some outstanding developments occurring Sunday night to continue to build and forward the planned, Wrestlemania storylines. He said that there is no reason for the Royal Rumble not to be a strong night of pro wrestling and that the talents competing at the event have the mindset of stealing the show.
Ross also talked about Total Divas and more. You can read the entire blog here. If you haven’t done so, you can listen to the latest episode of the Ross Report by clicking here.
