Adam Cole doesn’t think wrestling is headed towards a monopoly, comments on Cody Rhodes joining Bullet Club

ROH World Champion Adam Cole recently spoke with comicbook.com about various topics. When asked about Kenny Omega saying that WWE is a monopoly and if he thinks wrestling is headed in that direction, Cole disagreed with that statement and said that WWE is the number one wrestling promotion in the world and that they have things that they want to do and things that they want to accomplish. He noted that because it’s the largest wrestling company in the world then they’re always looking for new talent and if they can make money with somebody, then they’re going to hire them. He thinks that it has little to do with WWE trying to ruin wrestling. “A bunch of people think that WWE is so focused on trying to make sure that wrestling outside WWE doesn’t survive. No, I think they’re just trying to continue to grow, and obviously, that involves getting new talent.”

When asked about Cody Rhodes joining the Bullet Club, he said that he thinks that it’s been good and Rhodes joining the club has helped the group due to his profile of being a former WWE star. He said that Rhodes is doing his best and very much succeeding and having a good run in ROH. He noted that the club is always looking for guys with an edge. He said that he is excited to start teaming with Rhodes and thinks it’s going to be a lot of fun.

Cole also talked about ROH creating stars and more. You can read the entire interview here.
