– As noted, TM 61’s Shane Thorne recently suffered a knee injury and underwent surgery. WWE did an injury angle with Thorne on last week’s episode of NXT on the WWE Network which saw The Revival beat him down, which allowed to WWE to write him off of TV. The company announced on Wednesday’s episode of NXT that Throne will be out of action for 7-9 months.
We wish him a speedy recovery. As of this writing, there’s no word yet on if WWE will use his partner Nick Miller in singles matches or if they’ll keep him off of TV to wait for Thorne to return from injury.
