If you were watching the Royal Rumble on Sunday night, then you probably noticed that The Undertaker was not moving around too well. On Tuesday’s Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer noted that Taker was hurting backstage after he was eliminated from the Rumble match. He apparently came back too early following his recent hip surgery so that would explain why he was not in the best shape. Other than a spear from Goldberg, he didn’t bump around or move around too much while he was in the ring.
Hopefully, he feels better by the time he faces Roman Reigns at WrestleMania. As noted before on the site, Taker still needs to get hip replacement surgery but that is something he is trying to put off until he retires.
On a side note, for those that have emailed us about this, we don’t know if they are turning Roman Reigns but it certainly looks like they are leaning in that direction. The fans will perceive Reigns as the heel in the match with Taker at Mania.
