Kurt Angle recently appeared on Busted Open with Dave LaGreca and Larry Dallas to talk about various topics. During the interview, he was asked about possibly wrestling again in WWE. “Triple H and I did not talk about wrestling for the WWE after Wrestlemania. Do I think it will happen? Yes. But nothing is for sure right now.”
When asked about who he’d like to wrestle in one last match at Wrestlemania, Angle said that there’s a lot of good wrestlers in WWE but noted that he would like to wrestle AJ Styles at the event. He also said that Seth Rollins would be someone he would be interested in working with. He said that he likes Roman Reigns a lot but thinks he was forced a little bit and that is why fans reject him.
When asked about Reigns, he said that Reigns got the short end of the stick, but when it comes down to it, it’s really not his fault. He made it clear that he is not discrediting WWE and thinks that they have done a great job pushing him but said that the fans want to see him go through the ranks (win a secondary title then the WWE Title). He noted that Reigns stepped up to being a main eventer right away a year after The Shield broke up. He added that you can’t deny Reigns’ talent and is great in the ring.
