Bayley defeated Charlotte Flair to become the new WWE Raw Women’s Champion in a great match to close out this week’s episode of Monday Night Raw. Dana Brooke returned and tried to interfere on behalf of Flair but she was thwarted by Sasha Banks, who came out to even the odds for her friend Bayley.
This is Bayley’s first championship on the main roster. The women were given plenty of time to work and it was a good move on WWE’s part because they were allowed to have a great match. It felt like one of their NXT Takeover matches.
