WWE has posted a storyline update on Chris Jericho following the attack from Kevin Owens on last night’s edition of Monday Night Raw.
WWE says that Jericho appeared to have suffered severe lacerations and contusions (hint: the word contusion is often used for storyline injuries). The story states that he was taken to a medical facility after Raw.
As previously noted, the long-term plan is for Owens vs. Jericho at WrestleMania. Before that match takes place, Owens has to defend the WWE Universal Championship against Goldberg at Fastlane. If you missed Owens’ attack on Jericho then you can watch it now by clicking here.
