Teddy Long on being inducted into WWE Hall of Fame, how The Undertaker influenced him, more

Teddy Long spoke with FOX Sports about being inducted into the 2017 WWE Hall of Fame class. When asked about the induction, Long stated that he was really surprised to hear the news. He stated that he knew that his time would come one day and that he is excited about it. He noted that it’s such an honor to be a part of something like this. He thanked Vince McMahon, the McMahon family and the fans as well as all of the people that just hung out with him. He added that he is so excited about it that he is kind of at a loss for words.

When asked who had the most influence on his career, he noted that he and The Undertaker are good friends and that they go back since their time in WCW. He noted that Taker was “Mean” Mark Callous at the time and that Taker is one of the nicest guys that you could ever meet and that he gave him a lot of advice. “I had the chance to sit down and talk with him a whole lot, and he was very instrumental in my career.” He added that Kevin Sullivan, Eddie Gilbert, and several other people had an influence on his career.
