Baron Corbin recently spoke with the Phoenix New Times about his career and more. During the interview, he was asked about not caring about fan reactions, he noted that’s the reason he is good at his job and successful. He said that he has never really cared what people think of how or what he is doing and if they have a problem with it then they can either change their mind or voice their opinion. “I don’t want them to change their opinion because someone else did. All those people who are negative can stay that way. It doesn’t fill my pockets more with their respect.” He added that he is going to continue to go out there and do what he does every night.
When asked about possibly facing Braun Strowman at WrestleMania, he noted that he wants to keep taking SmackDown Live to the next level so if WWE wants him to be in the ring with a RAW Superstar, then he has no problem with that. “We had a Smackdown victory at the Royal Rumble, and at Survivor Series, Smackdown walked away with the winner. And so I wouldn’t mind keeping that going.”
