For those of you that have asked, yes, War Machine (Hanson and Raymond Rowe) are free agents and could be on their way to WWE in the near future. In fact, Kyle O’Reilly and Adam Cole are also free agents and are expected to debut in WWE, likely as part of NXT, in the very near future. Of course, everything depends on if/when they pass the standard physical and when they believe that the time is right to start them in NXT. Logically, it would seem like the right time to debut them would be as part of NXT Takeover: Brooklyn III or on the TV tapings after the live show.
Bobby Fish made his debut last week at the NXT TV tapings.
In other news…
The Bullet Club shirts at Hot Topic have been selling like hot cakes. At first, the shirts were sold in a few stores but the sales figures were great so it was decided to put them in stores nationwide. Hot Topic has also ordered shirts for The Young Bucks, Kenny Omega, Cody Rhodes and Marth Scurll.
The deal to get these shirts in stores started in April during WrestleMania weekend when one of the Hot Topic execs was in Orlando. The execs saw Bullet Club, Elite and Young Bucks stuff everywhere and asked WWE why those shirts were not part of the deal. The exec found out that they are not with WWE so he made the deal with The Bucks, Omega, and Scurll to get their shirts in stores. That is amazing if you really think about it and it shows how hot independent wrestling is and how guys like The Young Bucks and Cody Rhodes have been doing an amazing job at marketing themselves. Some guys are able to make more money on the independent scene than they would in WWE because they get to keep a larger cut of their merchandise money and independent companies cover travel expenses.
How SCINTILLATING, @MattJackson13 & @NickJacksonYB.. We're neighbors in @HotTopic. pic.twitter.com/9IZ8j54aej
