Aleister Black comments on receiving a new name in NXT, reveals his dream WrestleMania opponent

NXT star Aleister Black was recently interviewed by the Card Subject To Change podcast. During the interview, he was asked about being named Aleister Black when he joined WWE NXT and his character. Black, who went by the name Tommy End on the indie scene, stated that his current character is a creation of his influences as well as Triple H and the rest of the NXT creative team combined. He noted that he always tries to compare his previous installments with being a seed and with that as well as help within NXT, it has allowed him to grow into a flower that is called Aleister Black. He wants to see if they can turn that flower into a field. He added that this is just the beginning of what he is going to be in the WWE Universe.

Although Black has only been in WWE NXT for a short period of time, most Superstars think about their dream opponent at WWE’s biggest event of the year, which is WrestleMania. When asked about it, he said that it would have to face Randy Orton due to him being a big fan of the former WWE Champion. He brought up how there is something with Orton as well as Bray Wyatt. He added that they are two people who understand themselves and their craft so well.

Black also talked about NXT, Triple H and more. You can read the entire interview here.
