WWE is planning to have a big match take place on tonight’s episode of SmackDown Live. Pwinsider.com is reporting that John Cena will team with WWE United States Champion AJ Styles to take on Rusev and Kevin Owens in a tag team match.
Cena is set to face Rusev in a Flag Match at the upcoming Battleground pay-per-view event later this month. WWE has yet to announce Styles vs. Owens for the United States Championship at the event. It’s expected that the company will make that match official soon.
WWE airs tonight’s SmackDown Live in San Antonio, TX at the AT&T Center. WWE has already announced that Xavier Woods vs. Jey Uso, Baron Corbin vs. Shinsuke Nakamura, Jinder Mahal vs. Tye Dillinger in a non-title match will take place on the show.
