– WWE has announced a match and segment for next week’s episode of NXT on the WWE Network. The show will feature Johnny Gargano’s return to the ring against Raul Mendoza. Also, NXT Champion Bobby Roode will respond to Drew McIntyre’s promo. Roode is scheduled to defend the championship against McIntyre at NXT Takeover: Brooklyn III. Gargano sent out this tweet to hype his return:

– Former WWE star John Hennigan, better known as John Morrison, has a role in Sharknado 5, which premieres on August 6th.
– As seen on this week’s episode of NXT TV on the WWE Network, former TNA Knockout Lei’D Tapa made her television debut by losing the opening match to Ember Moon. As noted, Moon vs. NXT Women’s Champion Asuka is now official for NXT Takeover: Brooklyn III during SummerSlam weekend.
