When Sasha Banks won the Raw Womenโs Championship at SummerSlam a lot of people were surprised. Little Miss Bliss seemed like a solid champion and Sasha was put in her #1 contender spot at the last minute thanks to Bayleyโs injury.
Alexa Bliss came out on the Raw after SummerSlam to challenge The Boss for a rematch. But she didnโt want to have her match in front of a bunch of SummerSlam fanboys, instead, she would have it on Raw next week in Memphis.
During her promo, Alexa pointed out how Sasha might be good at winning titles but sheโs not good at keeping them. This is true and very well might translate to another title loss next week on Raw if Little Miss Bliss has anything to say about it.
โI just think that they want Alexa Bliss to be the champion. And right now I think โ right now theyโre in the mode of doing lots of title changes figuring that lends attention and maybe itโs the right move, I donโt knowโ Dave Meltzer noted on Wrestling Observer Live.
WWE is switching a lot of titles right now but they will eventually go to who Vince McMahon wants to be the champion. Right now he likes heel champions but this wasnโt always the trend. However, Bliss and Sasha could be the exception when Raw rolls into Memphis next week. Weโll just have to wait and see.
One thing is for sure, The Boss isnโt going to give her title up without a fight.
