TMZ is reporting that Jake “The Snake” Roberts has a cancerous tumor behind his knee that is growing into his muscle. Roberts noticed the tumor last month and had it tested and it came back positive for cancer.
Jake told TMZ that he is scheduled to go in for emergency surgery this Tuesday. He also said that nothing would stop him from getting to New Orleans for the Hall of Fame.
Jake was quoted as saying “If the devil can’t defeat me, cancer doesn’t stand a chance in hell! Pray for sick children who face this horrible disease ’cause The Snake will be just fine.”
We wish him the best and hopefully the doctors were able to catch it early.
