We previously reported that WWE officially released their proposed tournament bracket for the Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic. But leave it to WWE to not leave anything alone until it’s just right.
It turns out WWE needed to change up some of the placements in the bracket. We’re not 100% sure of the reason for this quite yet but it will probably come out in the wash.
If you can refer to the old bracket, the new one isn’t much different except for the fact TM61 vs AOP and SAnitY vs Tin Sabbatelli and Riddick Moss have switched sides. This could very well lead to Heavy Machinery vs AOP and if their previous outings are any sign of things, that match could indeed be a brutal spotfest.
As the weeks tick down to NXT TakeOver: New Orleans we’ll see more teams advance in the tournament. But one thing is for sure, it’s going to be a lot of fun to watch no matter how WWE stacks the bracket.
WWE slightly modified the bracket, moving TM61 vs. AOP to the left side and SAnitY vs. Tino Sabbatelli & Riddick Moss to the right. ^JC pic.twitter.com/ge2Ej80GSJ
