Dave Meltzer has some more details on Jeff Jarrett’s new promotion and who is behind it. According to the report, while Toby Keith is the main man behind the new promotion, the company will not be funded solely by Toby Keith. It will likely include a group of partners. When the discussions were going down late last year to buy TNA it was a group of Nashville investors with Toby Keith (he’s from Oklahoma) as the driving force in those negotiations.
At a Sportsfest in Nashville on 2/22 Jarrett talked about the promotion and pretty much said everything is a “go” and talked about the idea of a Tuesday night show.
