Top WWE NXT star moving to the main roster?

We haven’t heard about Nikki Cross main roster rumors in a while but, perhaps, WWE is getting ready to move her up soon.

Cross teamed up with Becky Lynch to defeat The IIconics at the WWE live event in August, GA on Monday Night. Cross wrestled as a babyface. There was talk of her moving up to the main roster after her loss to Shayna Baszler at NXT Takeover: Chicago.

The last show Cross wrestled on was the NXT live event in Largo, Florida. I guess we’ll find out either this week or on the Smackdown Live after Extreme Rules if Cross is indeed moving up to the main roster permanently.

The 29-year-old Cross has been wrestling since 2008 in Scotland and on the British independent circuit. She competed in TNA’s British Boot Camp 2 in 2014 before she was signed to a developmental deal in 2016. Cross is generally regarded as one of the best female workers in NXT and she is well-liked by virtually everyone backstage. Hopefully, she will have a good run on the main roster…whether that happens next week or later this year.
