Impact Wrestling has announced that Tessa Blanchard has signed a new long-term deal with the company.
There’s no word on how long the contract is for but this should eliminate any speculation on a possible jump to WWE. Blanchard is the daughter of WWE Hall Of Famer Tully Blanchard and granddaughter of Joe Blanchard.
Her wrestling career began in 2014 and she has quickly become one of the best female wrestlers on the independent scene.
Blanchard has been on WWE’s radar since 2014 when she was brought in as one of Adam Rose’s Rosebuds and she has made some appearances on NXT TV. Last year, she was in the Mae Young Classic and there were some in WWE that thought that she would be offered a contract.
Blanchard joins Eli Drake on the list of names that have recently signed long-term deals with Impact.
