Several readers have emailed us to let us know that Hulk Hogan, along with Jimmy Hart, was spotted arriving in Clevland, Ohio last night. That is just a couple of hours away from Pittsburgh, PA, the site of tonight’s WWE Extreme Rules pay-per-view.
Sometimes, when WWE has a huge surprise in mind, they will have a wrestler fly to a different airport and then have them drive from there as a way to keep things from leaking out.
On Twitter, Hogan wrote about “my back yard,” but as you can see in the tweets below, he was not home in Tampa. Furthermore, Hogan is not listed for any public appearances this weekend in Cleveland or anywhere else.
We’ll see if this means anything for tonight. As previously reported, Hogan has been in talks with WWE for months about a return to the company. The feeling was always about “when” he would return and not “if” he would return. WWE has been extremely cautious because they didn’t want any backlash from sponsors because of the “N-word” scandal from a few years ago.
