On this week’s episode of WWE Smackdown Live, Becky Lynch defeated Mandy Rose. After the match, she grabbed the mic and announced her intentions to take the Smackdown Women’s Championship from Carmella.
During a backstage segment, Carmella (without James Ellsworth) ran into General Manager Paige. She announced that Carmella would have to face Lynch on next week’s Smackdown Live. If Lynch wins then she will get her title shot at SummerSlam in Brooklyn’s Barclays Center.
