The Miz and Maryse are doing interviews in the media this week and the latest one was a lot of fun. They appeared on Cheddar, a TV channel that covers the latest in business and technology. Miz revealed that he has a beef with Amazon founder Jeff Bezos.
“I wanna fight Bezos and I’ll tell you the reason,” The Miz said. “I wanna fight Bezos because my wife buys so much boxes from Amazon each and every day and my recycling bin is out the roof. I need like three different recycling bins all filled of Amazon boxes because this one loves Amazon Prime and buys everything on Amazon Prime.”
Obviously, he wasn’t serious but you have to give credit to The Miz for having the ability to create attention-grabbing headlines as a way to promote what he’s doing. In this case, he is promoting ‘Miz and Mrs’ reality show that premieres on Tuesday night after Smackdown Live on the USA Network.
In addition to the media promotion for the reality show, The Miz is getting ready for SummerSlam. Based on this week’s episode of Smackdown Live, it’s pretty clear that we will see Miz vs. Bryan at the Barclays Center next month. The angle may seem rushed but apparently, WWE had to start it because Kane is out with an ankle injury.
