The professional wrestling world has lost a young indy performer way too soon.
Independent star Virgil Flynn has sadly passed away at the young age of 33 due to a stroke. The thirteen-year professional wrestling veteran had done work for promotions such as APW, Supreme Pro Wrestling (SPW) and Hoodslam.
He had also done work for Global Force Wrestling (GFW) and debuted at GFW Amped back in July of 2015. Flynn worked three GFW tapings in Las Vegas and even made it to the finals of the GFW NEXGEN Title Tournament. Flynn also held several titles throughout his wrestling career, but perhaps his biggest accomplishment was hanging on to the BOTW West Coast Title for 494 days until his sudden passing.
IMPACT Wrestling’s UK and Ireland Twitter account confirmed the news of Flynn’s passing, and had this to say on the matter:
“We are saddened to hear about the sudden passing of Virgil Flynn. Our hearts and thoughts are with his young family at this incredibly sad time.”
