What happened following WWE SmackDown Live & 205 Live tapings

Last night’s (Wed. July 24, 2018) episode of WWE SmackDown Live certainly had a lot for professional wrestling fans to digest.

The show featured Randy Orton declaring his intentions to eliminate Jeff Hardy from the WWE. Andrade “Cien” Almas picked up a big win over Rusev, escalating the tensions between Lana, Aiden English and “The Bulgarian Brute.” James Ellsworth was fired from SmackDown Live by General Manager Paige. Samoa Joe emerged as AJ Styles’ challenger for the WWE Title at SummerSlam next month.

Another SummerSlam title bout was confirmed when Becky Lynch secured her spot in a SmackDown Live Women’s Title match against Carmella. And finally, The Miz got one up on Daniel Bryan when he attacked him to close the show during his celebration for the premiere episode of “Miz & Mrs.”

When SmackDown Live and 205 Live tapings finished up, the crowd was sent home happy with a star-studded Six-Man Tag Team dark match. The team of WWE Champion AJ Styles, Daniel Bryan and Jeff Hardy defeated United States Champion Shinsuke Nakamura and The Bar (Sheamus and Cesaro).

A fan captured the following snapshot from the dark match main event:
