Former WWE United States Champion R-Truth returned to in-ring competition earlier this week on an episode of SmackDown Live. Truth’s return was a losing effort against WWE Title challenger Samoa Joe, who will take on AJ Styles at SummerSlam next month.
Less than a day after returning to action, R-Truth took to Instagram and shared some images of the injury that had kept him shelved. The photo shows an elevated bone in what appears to be Truth’s shoulder. The injury kept him out-of-action for the majority of the year. He noted he required two surgeries to get the floating bone removed:
“This is the amount of floating bone that was removed my shoulder.”

He is a former United States Champion, Hardcore Champion and Tag Team Champion. Truth is also a rapper as well and has released two albums, entitled “Invinceable” and “Killingit.”
