Rey Mysterio could be back in WWE as soon as next month. As previously noted, the talks have been going well and the main thing Mysterio wanted was to work a limited schedule so he could heal his body and spend time with his family. It looks like WWE is on board with giving him a limited schedule because the last word is that he will work on the All In show and one more show on the following day before he is free and clear from commitments.
Mysterio will team with Rey Fenix and Bandido to take on The Young Bucks and Kota Ibushi in a match that could steal the show in Chicago. Dave Meltzer reported that the original idea was for The Bucks and Kenny Omega to take on Mysterio Fenix and Penta 0M.
Meltzer also reported that there was a push to get him back before All In to keep him off that show and other shows but that is apparently not happening.
WWE is expected to go after more top talent in the coming months. As reported yesterday, they made overtures for Fenix and Pentagon Jr. but they are still under contract to Lucha Underground.
