Kurt Angle is open to having another run with the WWE Title.
The former Olympic gold medalist is a four time WWE Champion in addition to having won the World Heavyweight Title once. After leaving the WWE in 2006 Angle went on to work for companies such as TNA, NJPW, AAA and so many more. Last year Angle was brought back to the WWE for a Hall Of Fame induction.
He was subsequently announced as the new General Manager of Monday Night RAW after Mick Foley’s departure. Angle has also wrestled several times since his WWE return, including a Tables Ladders and Chairs match, captaining Team RAW at Survivor Series and teaming up with Ronda Rousey in her WWE debut match at WrestleMania 34.
With Angle vamping up his in-ring workload for the company lately, some wonder if a possible WWE World Title run is in his future. Angle addressed this in a recent Q&A on his Facebook page. Here’s what he had to say:
“I hope so. That’s up to the powers that be. I’m healthy right now. Ready to go if I get called on.”
