The Undertaker will be back on WWE television for the 1,000th episode celebration of Smackdown Live. The show, scheduled for October 16, will emanate from the Capitol One Arena in Washington, DC and will feature several Superstars that have been associated with the brand over the years.
Tickets go on sale this Friday at 10 am for the general public and they will probably sell out fast. WWE is also three big matches for Smackdown 1000. Click here for more.
WWE has not said much about returning Superstars, but they said the following in a press release: “SmackDown LIVE has also helped launch the careers of pop-culture icons including Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, John Cena, The Undertaker, Triple H, “Stone Cold” Steve Austin and The Bella Twins.”
A few days before Smackdown 1000, Taker will wrestle on the Super Show-Down event at the Melbourne Cricket Ground in Australia in a match against Triple H. Also, John Cena will take on Kevin Owens on that show.
