It looks like Matt Riddle might not be the only name debuting soon as a regular on NXT.
It was reported this week in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter that Kacy Catanzaro is scheduled to be brought in for Takeover. Nothing is for sure and plans could always change but that usually means that they want to debut her (perhaps in the crowd like they’ve done before) or because they want to get ready for an imminent debut.
People backstage have been high on her because she has been a quick learner. The 28-year-old from Glen Ridge, New Jersey was the first woman to qualify on American Ninja Warrior and she is the first and only woman to complete the City Finals course.
Catanzaro is a lifelong wrestling fan and she was signed to a deal after impressing coaches at the Performance Center in 2017. She has made some appearances on live events and is one of the names announced for the Mae Young Classic.
